Your Buldak Ramen Set
“Buldak” is a combination of the Korean words Bul (fire) and Dak (chicken): it means a fiery, spicy chicken dish. In 2011, Samyang decided to launch noodles with Buldak flavor: “ Samyang Buldak ”. They are now one of the brand's best-selling products.
Thanks to the Fire Noodle Challenge, Buldak noodles have even become a viral phenomenon: As part of this challenge, you have to eat a full bowl of “Fire Noodles” in front of the camera without giving in to the spiciness. If you don’t like spicy dishes, you can simply use less sauce, for example, and it will be less spicy. Alternatively, you can try adding a slice of cheddar or mozzarella to the ramen after cooking.

There are so many different types of noodles in Korea that you could eat a new type every day for weeks. One of the most famous are the Samyang Buldak noodles, which have even achieved international fame! In our opinion, they are a good way to get to know a little about Korean culture from Germany.
