Description
If there's one thing we can be proud of in this country, it's undoubtedly the German Purity Law. Or rather, the beer brewed according to it. The same applies to wine in France, vodka in Russia, and aquavit in Norway. But there are also countless alcoholic specialties outside of Europe – for example, in South Korea! With the Sulsul Box, the surprise box of Korean alcoholic beverages, we want to show you that Korea has nothing to hide when it comes to pilsner, wheat beer, and the like. These boxes contain Korean drinks that you could easily order in Seoul's trendy districts.
You can choose between a mix of beer, soju and rice wine and a drinks box with 6 different soju varieties.

Your Korean alcohol box
Alongside the classic alcoholic drinks, it is incredibly exciting to discover alcohol specialties from all over the world. Each of our Sulsul boxes has 6 different bottles from Korea's fascinating drinking culture waiting for you!
❗Important note about the best-before date: With Korean drinks, the date given on the bottle can be either the production date (Soju) or the best-before date (beer and rice wine - date format often YYYY.MM.DD). You'll find all the details about the best-before date in the alcohol section of the brochure in your box.
This is what awaits you
To bring you closer to Korea's variety of alcohol here in Germany too, we searched the supermarkets in Korea for the very best drinks. The possible specialties in your box include Korean beer, Makgeolli rice wine or classic Soju, for example. That way you can enjoy Korean drinking culture at home too!

Delicious Soju varieties
In your Sulsul surprise box, alongside classic Jinro Chamisul you'll also find fruity Soju flavors like peach, grapefruit or green grape.

Aromatic rice wine
Makgeolli is a refreshing alcoholic drink made from rice, water and yeast. Like Soju, rice wine comes in many different flavors.

Korean beer
Hite Jinro beer, which is widespread in Korea, is also a possible item in your box. That way you can enjoy Korean drinking culture at home too!

Changing contents
The contents of the Sulsul box change every now and then. That depends on the season and availability, but also on the feedback from the ViaMundi community!

The Sulsul magazine
So that our boxes get you as close as possible to a trip to Korea, we put a lovingly designed magazine in every package. In it you can read exciting info about drinking culture, party music and drinking games in Korea!

Interesting info about Korea and Korean drinking culture
Of course we don't want to let you loose on the alcoholic delicacies unprepared. That's why the Sulsul boxes also come with a 14-page booklet containing information about the drinks and about Korea in general.
Alongside music tips, you can also look forward to matching dishes from Korean cuisine and the unwritten rules that should be followed when drinking alcohol.
Cocktail recipes to make yourself
For anyone who finds the pure Soju taste too strong, there are some great cocktail recipes that the young generation in Korea likes to drink. For that, people usually meet up in a Suljib, which literally translated means "alcohol house".
In the magazine you'll find instructions for two such Korean cocktails that you can easily mix with the contents of your Sulsul box and ingredients from the nearest German supermarket.
Korean drinking games
Naturally, the odd drinking game can't be missing from the magazine either! Because Koreans love drinking games. There are lots of different ones, and new ones keep being added all the time. We introduce you to three of the most popular (and simplest) drinking games from Korea.
Hi, we are the Sulsul team!

Dschihä from Korea & Philipp from Germany. We have been married for over 5 years and live together with our little daughter in Germany.
Our two home countries are quite different, but we have found that they definitely have one thing in common: in both countries people like to drink, and they like to drink together. Sure, everyone knows that Germans love beer. But did you know that South Korea has a big drinking culture too? Koreans often play drinking games, go bar hopping or follow all sorts of rules about which dishes are served with which kind of alcohol.
With our Sulsul drink assortments we want to bridge the distance between the two countries: we bring many different kinds of Korean alcohol to Germany and garnish the unique taste with extra info that transports you straight to Korea.
We hope you like the boxes and have just as much fun trying the drinks as we do!
Please note: as all the drinks included contain alcohol, the boxes are only available from the age of 18.
