Single Snacks

If you have already tried one or more of our boxes, you can order individual snacks from them here. Unfortunately, we cannot offer all items individually: It is often really not easy to get enough copies of the rarer sweets.

When a single pack suits you better than a box

A surprise box takes the choosing off your hands, here you do it yourself — that is the whole difference. Usually it comes down to one of three situations. You have tried a variety and want exactly that one again. You avoid certain ingredients and would rather read every packet yourself. Or you need one ingredient for a particular dish, not an assortment around it.

Where to start if you are torn

The range falls into four rough groups. Most people know after the first look which one they belong in.

  • Rice cakes and ready meals: Tteokbokki sticks to cook yourself, Goodpokki with the sauce already made, the Carbonara Topokki Instant Bowl for in between. The Tteokbokki overview explains how the dish is put together.
  • Savory: Orion Kobuk Turtle Chips, HBAF Almonds, Tteobokki Chips, Blazing K-BBQ Chicken Snack.
  • Sweet: Choco Pie, Lotte Malang Cow, mochi cakes with matcha, KitKat in Japanese varieties.
  • Drinks: Korean banana milk, Binggrae Coffee Milk, Cantabile Flavored Ade and pine sprout punch.

The focus is on Korea, but not only: Big Latiao comes from China, Yaahoo with its durian flavor from the Philippines, Wonka Nerds Gummy Clusters from the USA. To see how wide the rest of the range runs, look under Asia.

Reading the heat correctly

The most common wrong pick is a spicy variety. Korean heat usually comes from gochugaru and gochujang and tastes sweet and warm rather than piercing, yet it still catches newcomers harder than they expect. The post on why Koreans eat so spicy explains why it is so common there.
