The Dalgona Magazine
No trip - not even a culinary one - is truly complete without a little cultural education. That's exactly why we've put two magazines in your Dalgona box, in which you'll find all sorts of interesting and worth knowing things about Korea.

In the enclosed magazine you will of course find all the important data about the sweets such as ingredients, nutritional values and expiry dates .
But much more important is the additional information about each individual item. Many of the sweets are a special tradition in Korean society or are served on certain occasions. You can read more about this in your Dalgona box!

Did you know that the Dalgona box gets its name from a cookie? Dalgona cookies were popular street snacks in the 1970s in South Korea. They consist mostly of sugar and baking powder and are decorated with fancy shapes.

Hello, we are the Dalgona team!
Djihä from Korea & Philipp from Germany. We have both been married for over 5 years and live in Germany with our little daughter.
We would like to introduce you to the culture of Korea. That's why we decided to put together a box with many different Korean sweets. Because sweets are a great way to learn something about another culture.
But bringing a box of Korean sweets to Germany was harder than expected: We spent many hours finding the right sweets in Korean supermarkets and then figuring out a way to bring them to Germany. It was quite difficult at times and even if Jiha didn't want to admit it afterwards in order to look cool, sometimes she was close to tears when such a great sweet couldn't be obtained or something else went wrong.
Now we've finally done it: our box of Korean sweets is ready and we're really looking forward to finding out how you like it!
Some of the snacks contain ingredients of animal origin such as gelatin and are therefore not suitable for vegetarian, vegan or Muslim diets. Other sweets are made from purely plant-based ingredients, so there is something for everyone.

Mein Freund mit koreanischen Wurzeln hat sich sehr über dieses Geschenk gefreut.
Das Team von ViaMundi hat sich ganz toll gekümmert.
Die Süßigkeiten habe ich selbst nicht probiert, weil das ein Geschenk für meine Freundin war. Aber sie gibt Updates und es soll ihr wirklich schmecken. Kam super schnell an und sieht alles authentisch aus.
Werde da aufheben Fall noch einmal bestellen, entweder für mich oder als kleines Danke an andere! :)
Die Box kam zeitnah und der gesamte Inhalt ist total lecker. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich die Nudeln testen.
Hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Wir mochten viele Snacks(nicht alle). Ist aber als nicht Koreaner normal. Jedes Land hat seine eigenen Essgewohnheiten. Auf E-Mails wurde geantwortet. Die zwei Büchlein sind super. Beschreibung der Snacks waren sehr hilfreich und die Traditionen sehr interessant. Vorallem was man zum Einzug verschenkt fandte ich witzig. 😉 Wir werden dann als nächstes die Kochbox kaufen und später die Trinkbox. 😀
Sachen sind toll. Habe nur dieses Mal die milk-mint Bonbons vermisst
