Dalgona Cookie: A traditional Korean sweet

Dalgona was a popular street snack in South Korea in the 1970s and 1980s, and even today you can sometimes still find a vendor selling it on the street.

It is a kind of cookie, usually very flat and round in shape. It is made from melted sugar and baking powder, and a special shape (for example a star, a tree, a heart or something similar) is always pressed into the cookie with a metal stamp. If you manage to bite your way around the outline of the symbol without breaking the candy, you can pick up another cookie from the vendor for free! Of course that was great fun for children, and Dalgona cookies are a happy childhood memory for every Korean!

The successful series "Squid Game", which came out on Netflix in 2021, made Dalgona known worldwide. The children's game described above turns into a deadly contest there, in which players were punished with death for a broken Dalgona.

Dalgona cookies are very fragile, so both variants consist of cookies that are already broken. Each pack contains 25 g of Dalgona Crunch.

Für Ostern mal was anderes 😁

Mein Sohn bekam zu Ostern statt die standart Süßigkeiten diesmal eine Box.
Die Vielfalt und Auswahl rechtfertigt aus meiner Sicht den Preis. Hier wird aufjedenfall sich Gedanken gemacht das der Kunde wirklich eine Überraschung erlebt.

Ich werde wieder bestellen.
