After instant noodles were invented in 1958 they spread quickly from Japan across the whole of Asia. MAMA, the brand of Thai President Foods, is the market leader in Thailand with a share of 50%. It is so popular that many Thai people now use "MAMA" as a synonym for instant noodles. The first flavor to come onto the market was Tom Yum Shrimp Flavor.
The Thai company Wan Thai Foods with its brand Yum Yum has been supplying the whole world with tasty instant noodles since the 1970s. Alongside classics like Chicken and Curry, Yum Yum is also known for typically Thai street food dishes such as Pad Thai and Tom Kha Gai.

Dschihä from Korea & Philipp from Germany. We have been married for over 5 years and live in Germany together with our little daughter.
We love Asian noodle dishes more than anything! They are a great way to get to know the different cultures of Asia a little from Germany. That is why we decided to put together two boxes with lots of tasty instant noodles from the Thai brands MAMA and YUMYUM.
Alongside classic noodle flavors like Chicken or Shrimp, both noodle brands also offer many flavors developed specially for the Thai market: Tom Yum, Thai Green Curry, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai and many more. Our Ba Mee box contains these typically Thai dishes and so gives you an exciting culinary experience.
We hope you like the boxes and have just as much fun trying the noodles as we do!
Most MAMA & YUMYUM flavors contain ingredients of animal origin, but we always make an effort to have at least one vegetarian variety in the box as well.
