The Great Wave off Kanagawa: Water Bottle & Fan Set

Around 1831 the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai created a woodblock print that would change the world forever: The Great Wave off Kanagawa. In the original, a roaring force of nature towers over small boats and makes the snow-capped Fuji look tiny behind them. Today the picture graces museum walls around the globe — and now your everyday life too. The print belongs to ukiyo-e, the Japanese art of woodblock printing, whose sheets were meant back then as affordable everyday pictures.
